  • As a Vocational Education Teacher, preparing students with the skills needed to obtain and maintain employment, I find the Soft Skills Training workbook an excellent resource. Mr. Wentz creates a comprehensive framework in the very detailed sections covering Personal Qualities/Work Ethic, Problem Solving, Oral Communication Skills, and Interpersonal Skills/Teamwork. The various quotes and thinking skills worksheets promote class discussion, allowing for self-reflection and collaborative learning. Many potential workers lack the essential workplace soft skills that are necessary for success, and this book provides a very thorough discussion of all important topics related to these skills. An excellent resource!
  • The BEST book I’ve ever had my hands on in relation to soft skills. The author was also extremely attentive to my emails when asking him instructor- related questions ect. This material has already changed my life by unlocking the missing pieces to my soft skills knowledge and the book is in large print, which makes it very easy to read.
  • The way the workbook is structured is fantastic. It can be used in many different ways to meet your audience’s needs. Can’t say enough positive things about the book. It’s a terrific resource. I emailed the author for additional info and he was very kind and accommodating. Great experience. Thank you for your help Mr. Wentz and thank you for this workbook!
  • I am a Career Counselor to former addicts. My first week I could tell they weren’t engaged. (I am usually a high school college bound guidance counselor. So these were new students for me.) I bought this book and the Soft Skills Training Workbook and my class now takes an ACTIVE interest in learning positive job skills. If there were 10 stars I would rate this book and the workbook that high. These guys asked if we could work ahead!!! By using an email given in the books you can contact the author who is very helpful and professional. He will send you a teacher’s guide on a pdf file. If you are working with the under employed, those who have been out of the job market for a time or teach a vocational class you NEED this book. Well worth its cost. It’s fun to see students this excited about getting AND keeping a job.
